THINKING INSIDE THE BOX

YOUR PLACE TOO!

THE LORD'S DAY

DOES A LACK OF FAITH MEAN

THAT GOD DOESN'T EXIST?

Romans 1:19-22; Psalms 19:1-2; Rom 10:17

Will their lack of faith nullify God's faithfulness? Not at all! Let God be true, and every man a liar.

Romans 3:3-4

For the world, Moses could not think outside his box. God had picked him to lead the Hebrews out of 400 years of bondage in Egypt. But Moses didn’t believe he was the guy for the job. Never been eloquent, slow of speech and all that… How did Moses get out of his self-made box? By following God’s commands, as we know. When your back is against the ‘Red Sea’, who do you think ‘has got your back’?

I am the way, the truth and the life. No man comes to the Father except by Me.  John 14:6

Now faith is
being sure of what we hope for
and certain of what we do not see.

Then, you can live Philippians 4:13

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

At this they wept again. Then Orpah kissed her mother-in-law good-by, but Ruth clung to her.

"Look," said Naomi, "your sister-in-law is going back to her people and her gods. Go back with her."

But Ruth replied, "Don't urge me to leave you or to turn back from you. Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay.

Your people will be my people and your God my God. Where you die I will die, and there I will be buried. Ruth 1:14-17

How can you get more outside the box than that?

I DO NOT KNOW HOW TO SPEAK

I AM ONLY A CHILD

Is it really whether you live inside or outside the box? Doesn’t it depend on where the truth is? What is better? Living outside the box believing a world full of lies or living inside the box knowing the truth? I’m sure there are many who believe Christians live inside their own little box, think inside their own little box. With God it isn’t physical constraints that truly limit us. Nor does the ever expanding universe free us. As Jesus said, “Then you will know the truth and the truth will set you free”. When is ‘then’? When we hold to His teaching...

HOME AT LAST

las iglesias de Cristo os saludan Romanos 16:16

As God chose Jeremiah to be His voice to the nation of Israel, what was Jeremiah’s reply? “I do not know how to speak. I am only a child”. So, God says, “Maybe you’re right. I’ll find somebody else”.

NOT!

"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations."

"Ah, Sovereign Lord," I said, "I do not know how to speak; I am only a child."

But the Lord said to me, "Do not say, 'I am only a child.' You must go to everyone I send you to and say whatever I command you. Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you and will rescue you," declares the Lord.

Then the Lord reached out his hand and touched my mouth and said to me, "Now, I have put my words in your mouth. See, today I appoint you over nations and kingdoms to uproot and tear down, to destroy and overthrow, to build and to plant." Jeremiah 1:5-10

Welcome to the only church that Jesus built

christianity

A Christian with knowledge of the truth though bound to a wall by chains knows and understands what true freedom is. The person who travels the world at will but lives and believes ‘the lie’ is never free and is in ignorant bliss. That is the person who is truly ‘boxed in’.

If you can think 1 Corinthians 4:6

Bienvenidos a la única iglesia

When the king of Aram surrounded Dothan where Elisha and his servant were, this was what the latter woke up to.

When the servant of the man of God got up and went out early the next morning, an army with horses and chariots had surrounded the city. "Oh, my lord, what shall we do?" the servant asked.

"Don't be afraid," the prophet answered. "Those who are with us are more than those who are with them."

Well, you can probably understand if the servant was more than a little perplexed here. How would you have felt in his sandals? How comfy do you feel in yours?

And Elisha prayed, "O Lord, open his eyes so he may see." Then the Lord opened the servant's eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha. 2 Kings 6:15-17

Sometime, maybe many times we need a little extra help to see what we can’t see.

"No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him"— but God has revealed it to us by his Spirit. 1 Corinthians 2:9-10.

Now read Revelation 21 and 22:1-5.
