If whatever is not of faith i.e., the Word of God, is sin (Romans 14:23b)

If there is only one faith, one Lord, one baptism (Ephesians 4:5)-  anything else is all downhill from here, and we’re not talking about skiing.

                                                                                    The disciples were called Christians first at Antioch (Acts 11:26).     

Then Agrippa said to Paul, "Do you think that in such a short time you can persuade me to be a Christian?" (Acts 26:28)     

However, if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but praise God that you bear that name. (1 Peter 4:16).

The name itself is praise to God, given by God and we should wear it proudly.

The Lord God has built His house. It is clearly not ‘man-made’.  Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it; Unless the Lord guards the city, The watchman stays awake in vain (Psalms 127:1).

If you insist on doing what you want instead of what God clearly instructs, you will be a slave of your own demise, with only yourself to thank.

I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed. Galatians 1:6-9. Note: ‘you have received– past tense, as verified also by Jude 3 regarding faith.

God’s says there is only one gospel and warns us not to change it… no grey area here.​

I will build my church (singular) Matthew 16:18; There is one body  (singular) Ephesians 4; And He is the head of the body, the church  (singular) Colossians 1:18. Did somebody say ’singular’?

Christ only built one church– His (the body). He alone is the head… no grey area here. 

But He answered and said, "Every plant which My heavenly Father has not planted will be uprooted.  Let them alone. They are blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind leads the blind, both will fall into a ditch."       Matthew 15:13-14 

Christ planted the seed, the Word. It tells us of one church-Christ’s… no grey area here. 

I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; Matthew 16:18-19

The words church and kingdom are used interchangeably… no grey area here.

Then the end will come, when he hands over the kingdom to God the Father after he has destroyed all dominion, authority and power.  1 Corinthians 15:24

Christ is coming back for His church only. Are you in it?… no grey area here.

Followers of Jesus Christ were called Christians who belonged to the one church that Jesus built. Paul told King Agrippa that he wished the King was just as he (Paul) was except for the chains.

You need to ask yourself, ‘Just what was Paul?’

You need to ask yourself, ‘Just what am I?’

King Agrippa is long gone. So is his kingdom and countless others. There is but one eternal Kingdom/Church (2 Peter 1:10,11,16).
