Would Jesus have restored a mammoth life-less, self-serving icon made by human hands for human egos out of vanity, or, a priceless, one of a kind precious temple of life made by God’s hands out of love, though sadly destroyed by ‘ours’ out of greed and neglect and indifference? When Jesus told ‘those’ of His day that if the ‘temple’ was destroyed He would rebuild it in three days, what or who do you think He was referring to? (John 2:19-22). In terms of value and worth and purpose what do you believe He meant? Mankind, maybe it’s time to stop building ‘bigger barns’ for self and start building ‘better barns’ for one and all (Luke 12:15-31). While you still have time, endeavor to dedicate yourself to what such symbolism is supposed to stand for- or it stands for nothing as do those standing along with it. He who has ears to hear, let him hear.
