when He puts an end to all rule and all authority and power. For He must reign till He has put all enemies under His feet. And the last enemy that will be destroyed is death.

The 'song holder' on the all to the left is 'home made'. We have used it since 1990 when we first started meeting in the basement of our home. So 'home made' certainly applies here.
The pulpit is also 'home made'. Constructed from a stereo stand, dissassembled and specifically re-purposed for this use, again when we first started worshipping in our home in 1990 (See smaller pictures below). We were there for over 10 years. Wow, has anybody priced the cost of pulpits these days?
The chairs are from a dining room set we used to have. They still have an elegance which graces any setting.
The Lord's Table is an antique, again with us since 1990. It is the exact same 'carving' and style one can find in a local church building turned 'museum' the building of which was salvaged when the local dam was built, flooding a number of 'lost villages' during the late fifties. The table historically goes back much more than that. What I did do was, take the table apart piece-by-piece, and refinish it.
We did replace our communion tray set with a copper/bronze version (plated over stainless steel). The set lends itself to more of a first century look and feel. This 'table' and communion set seem to compliment each other.
Half of our chairs came from an insurance coverage 'replacement' when a city waterline break flooded our home basement including the large fellowship/worship room we met in, in our house. The remaining low-backed chairs with arms were given to us by Big Brothers Big Sisters when they replaced theirs.
